WorkPal launch new Contactless Signatures feature to help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
Customers can sign off digital forms remotely and at a distance with its new feature.
Belfast based, mobile workforce management company, WorkPal, has launched a new feature in response to changing working environments caused by the Coronavirus crisis.
Prior to this feature release, mobile workers would pass their devices to customers for digital signature capture. With the new Contactless Signature capture, customers can sign digital forms on their own device removing the element of touch and potential virus transmission.
Ian Megahey, Sales Director at WorkPal said: “We are continually adapting to the needs of our customers. When lockdown went into effect we knew how difficult it would be keeping a safe distance from customers when requiring a signature. Our development team reacted quickly to this problem and developed the new Contactless Signature capture feature. This feature minimises the spread of Covid-19 and allows customers undertaking essential work to keep a safe distance while capturing signatures.”
WorkPal is a comprehensive mobile workforce management platform which manages both jobs and mobile workers in a completely paperless way. The data captured on the mobile worker’s application syncs back to the office in real-time for management and operations to manage.
WorkPal’s Contactless Signature feature enables the signature capture screen to appear on the recipient’s mobile device. By scanning a QR code or receiving a link via SMS the digital form appears on the recipient’s device ready for e-signature.
