How were you introduced to WorkPal?
“We were first introduced to WorkPal through the social media platform, LinkedIn.” Says Rob Parr, Director of Lincolnshire Gritters. “I had reached out to one of their sales representatives after seeing a post on the businesses page about its winter maintenance software.”
“We had a demo with the team to get a feel for how the solution worked and how it would integrate into our business. We discussed what I wanted to get out of the system and how it would help benefit our customers. It’s fair to say that it ticked all the boxes.”
How has WorkPal’s winter maintenance software integrated into your business?
“It has made scheduling jobs easier, quicker and much less hassle for the office team. All sites are added to the system with details including maps, addresses, trigger temps and allocated drivers which massively reduces time spent in the office. With a few clicks, jobs are sent to operatives in the field and emails are sent to clients.”
The drag & drop scheduling tool makes allocating and editing jobs much easier with a visual overview of the day, week or month. All job information is attached to the job request, meaning operatives have everything they need at their fingertips.
“Our clients love the Report documents that they receive as they can view all site information, images and tracking. This has proven to be a real asset as more businesses are requesting this information on job completion.”
How did you find the implementation process?
“We found the implementation of WorkPal very easy. I did most of it myself with the help of WorkPal’s support team. I wanted to start fresh and not copy old data from previous software across. I got the WorkPal logins, and everything was straightforward. If I had any questions, the team were always at hand to help navigate the system.”
Would you recommend WorkPal to others in your industry?
“I would 100% recommend the system to anyone carrying out winter maintenance. It has significantly improved our operations, helped save hundreds of hours and is very cost-effective.”
