Weedfree Landscapes is a grounds maintenance and winter gritting business operating across England, including Sheffield, Nottingham and Derby. With over 25 years of experience, the company has around a dozen vans on the road as well as a large range of machinery for servicing customers. As a family-run business with two generations of the Bower family, the team are proud to service over 700 gardens a fortnight in addition to its other commercial and domestic jobs.

How were you introduced to WorkPal?

The management team at Weedfree Landscapes was first introduced to WorkPal through LinkedIn, a social media platform for like-minded businesspeople to network, discover new businesses and advertise their services.

Tim highlights, “WorkPal has replaced all our old paperwork, making it a lot easier to manage and everything can be done remotely.” The digital forms feature of WorkPal enables users to transform all of their existing forms and documents into digital copies which can be stored on the system for easy access at a later date or for auditing purposes.

“The features within WorkPal have enhanced our processes. Our field operatives find it much easier to manage their incoming jobs and are more efficient when completing them.” Drag and drop job scheduling means back office staff are able to assign jobs instantly to the most appropriate or closest engineer. Jobs can be reassigned if needed and all information completed on-site is synced back in real time.

How did you find the onboarding process & ongoing support?

“Onboarding was a bit daunting for us as there was so much information and data to be loaded onto the WorkPal system, however, help was always at hand and the hard work was well worth it,” says Tim.

WorkPal’s dedicated implementation team is based in Belfast and walks customers through their onboarding journey from the point of sale to getting active on the system. Thorough training is provided to end-users to ensure businesses are set up for success from the outset.

“We are always in contact with the support team at WorkPal. We like to present new ideas to them to improve the system and the guys are really helpful.”
